HISOL 700 is APEO free HASE thickener for water base putties and texture paints. 
Compared  to  the former ASE thickeners, HISOL  700  has excellent  pigment wetting 
properties and  high viscosity build  up properties. Main advantages of  HISOL emulsion are as following.  

◇  Putties  and  texture  paints  thickened  with HISOL  700  thickener  show  high  
thixotropic properties and excellent sag resistance in high film build application.  

◇  Putties  and  texture  paints  thickened  with HISOL  700 thickener show excellent 
syneresis and  pigment  settling  resistance  in  long  term storage.  

◇  Putties  and  texture  paints  thickened  with HISOL  700  thickener  are  highly  
resistant  to attack by microbes and their enzymes. There by eliminating viscosity loss. 
Therefore it can  be  possible  to  design  the  more  biologically stable products. 
◇  Putties  and  texture  paints  thickened  with HISOL  700  thickener  is less costly
 to achieve the same viscosity compared to that thickened with former ASE thickeners and HASE thickeners 

◇ Putties and texture paints thickened with HISOL 700 thickener exhibit no remarkable 
viscosity change in long term storage. Also it is stable under tropical and freez-thaw condition. 
HISOL 700    thickener    has    good compatibility   with   other   HISOL   HASE thickeners 
when combine with to adjust the rheological properties of putties and texture paints. 
◇  HISOL  700  doesn‘t  contain  any  APEO surfactants and additives.

MANUFACTURING OF THE PUTTIES&TEXTURE PAINTS
 
When HISOL 700 thickener emulsions meet the   any   base,   HISOL 700   thickener emulsions makes gel. To save the dispersing time of HISOL  700 thickener emulsion, it is prefer  to  dilute  the  HISOL  700  with  water before adding to the paint and to add slowly with reasonably good agitation in the tank. After   adding   the   HISOL 700   thickener, appropriate  amount (CA  10%  based  on thickener  weight)  of  base (ammonia  or AMP95) should be added to get the pH (Up to 8).
 
If pH is low, putties and texture paints shows abnormal   rheology   and   worse   viscosity stability. HISOL 700 thickener emulsion can be added not  only  to  the  grinding  stage  in  order  to raise  the  viscosity  during  the  grinding  but also to the let-down stage in order to get the final viscosity. But when addition in grinding 

stage  it  is prefer to add  the  AMP  95  than ammonia to maintain the viscosity, because of   high   temperature   of   grinding  media, evaporation   of   neutralizer   reduces   the viscosity.
 
SAFETY AND HANDLING
 
HISOL  700  thickener  emulsions  would  be slightly irritating the mild skin and eyes. Avoid  contact  with  skin  and  eyes.  When handling,   wear   impervious   gloves   and goggles.  For  operation  where  contact  can occur, a safety shower and eyes wash facility should  be  available.  Handling  should  be available in well ventilated place. Use  stainless  steel  or  plastic  vessel  when handling. Store in closed container at  5℃  40℃.  Further  information  will  be  fined  in MSDS.
