Opaque  polymer  HIQUE 280S  is  Styreneacrylic  copolymer  emulsion  to  provide  the opacity  of  emulsion  paints.  Particle  size  of HIQUE  280S  is  similar  to  HIQUE  821,  but encapsulated air void of HIQUE 280S's particle is  bigger  than  that  of  HIQUE

821.  For  this reason, Solid content by weight is much lower (32%) than that of HIQUE 821.

Because HIQUE 280S has fine particle size as HIQUE  821, HIQUE280S could be applied to the  gloss  paint.  Main  advantage  of  HIQUE 280S is as following.

◇ Paints based on HIQUE  280S has better opacity   and   whiteness   when   substitute the same quantity of HIQUE 821 in Low PVC paint Formula.

◇  Because  of  lower  solid  content,  Cost  of HIQUE  280S  is  slightly  lower  than  HIQUE 821.

◇ Paints based on HIQUE 280S has good dirt pick  up  properties  and  gloss  when  used  in water base gloss and semi-gloss paints.

SAFETY AND HANDLING

HIQUE 280S would be slightly irritating the mild skin and eyes. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

When  handling,  wear  impervious  gloves  and goggles. For operation where contact can occur, a safety shower and eyes wash facility should be available.

Handling  should  be  available  in  well-ventilated place. Use stainless steel or plastic vessel when handling. Store in closed container at 5℃  - 40℃.
